How we like to work

Silhouette Wedding Video pride ourselves on our excellent customer service, attention to detail and professionalism. We like to meet our clients informally before the big event ideally two weeks before in order to discuss and plan the days filming. If the ceremony is planned for a church then we like to attend the rehearsal, meet with the wedding official and agree the positioning of equipment. We provide the Wedding Video Recording Licence to ensure that all legal requirements are met; this is included in our price.

We film using Sony high definition film equipment and to ensure that the vows are clearly recorded we ask for the Groom to wear a small lapel microphone just underneath the buttonhole with a small recorder in the inside pocket.

Filming during the day is carried out discreetly and as unobtrusively as possible. We like to wear dark colours so that we blend into the background. For your speeches the camera will be positioned quite low in front of the top table so that your guests view is not impaired, microphones will be placed on the top table to clearly capture the speeches.

We maMenu_07_disc_labely need to a small lamp on our camera during your first dance as normally the DJ turns off the house lighting this does have the benefit of adding extra lighting for your guests’ cameras! We prefer to film the early part of the disco/celebration but do like to be clear of the venue before the buffet service.

Editing of your film normally takes up to 6 weeks and we prefer to send you a draft copy first for your approval before producing your final copies.

We can provide Blu-ray or DVD copies each with a professional label and packaging using the latest publishing software. Your film will have a professionally animated menu chapter and disc contents printed on photo quality paper with the disc label printed and lacquered onto the disk itself. Your own personal choice of music can be added artistically to your film.

Thank you
